Congratulations to the Bexley Swimmers who qualified and swam at the GB Next Gen Champs (18 to 25 July) and the Go Cardless Swim England Summer Meet (29 July to 3 August).
Emily P placed 14th in the 1500 Freestyle after a tricky swim, but later posted a PB and qualified for the Finals in the 400 Free. She placed 8th. Her final race at the British Nationals saw another PB and a 9th place for her 800 Freestyle.
English Nationals kicked off with another PB for Emily and a place in the finals. A 7th place rounded out a good couple of days for her in Sheffield.
Next up to the block was Gabi. He swam a fantastic PB in both of his races placing 13th in the 100 Backstroke and 15th in the 200 Backstroke.
The week ended with the 100 Breast for Lan , finishing in 22nd place. Lan now leaves Bexley for University and we wish her very well for the future.
Immense thanks must go to Head Coach Mick for his time and commitment to his swimmers and we look forward to seeing more new Bexley talent on the national stage next year.
