Over two weekends at the London Aquatics Centre, 23 Bexley Swim Club swimmers proudly represented the club at the Swim England 2026 London Summer Regional Championships.
The team delivered an outstanding performance, achieving numerous personal best times and securing places in 36 finals across the competition. These results are a testament to the swimmers’ dedication, hard work and commitment to training throughout the season.

In addition, seven Bexley swimmers qualified for the 2026 Aquatics GB Next Generation Championships and the Swim England National Championships, which will take place in July. This is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the high standards being reached by our athletes.
The club also celebrated an impressive 14th-place overall finish, an excellent result for a club of Bexley’s size competing against some of the strongest swimming programmes in the region.
Congratulations must also go to those swimmers who achieved Regional Consideration Times but were not selected this year. Reaching these standards is a significant accomplishment, and we are confident that future opportunities await, whether at the Winter Championships in November or next summer’s regional competition.
Finally, a sincere thank you to all of our Team Managers who generously volunteered their time over both weekends. Their support, organisation and care for the swimmers play a vital role in the success of our competition teams.
